…another trade, this time with the Lions. In exchange for the 8th pick in the second round and the 6th pick in the fifth round (146th overall), Seattle receives the 13th pick in the second round (45th overall), the 11th pick in the fourth round (111th overall), and the 12th pick in the seventh round (227th overall). Part of me wants to be annoyed with them for making me wait yet again to hear an actual selection, but snagging an extra mid-round selection just for moving back five picks is not a bad deal at all.
I can only assume that enough of the players Seattle was targeting with the 32nd overall choice they sent to Minnesota are still on the board to warrant risking yet another trade down. Schneider had better make it rain when the fourth round rolls around tomorrow.
