Odds Against Hasselbeck Playing on Sunday? (UPDATE)

(UPDATE 12/31/10) As I stated earlier in this article, if “Hasselbeck practices on Friday he will probably play on Sunday.” Well guess what? Hasselbeck was limited in practice today and is “questionable” this Sunday to play. Whitehurst is still considered the starter, but if Matt is ready to go Sunday night, Coach Carroll will welcome […]

If the Seahawks Win or Lose

I have been thinking hard about the Seahawks loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yesterday and started to reflect upon the upcoming game against the Rams. I put together a few things for you all to think and chat about regarding what would happen if the Seahawks win or lose this Sunday against the Rams. […]

49ers Fire Coach Mike Singletary

First of all, I apologize for no articles today. I was working all day and could not write anything from work and the other writers could not contribute to the website due to prior obligations. I came home from work and heard that the Seahawks got blown out by the Bucs. I was shocked! I […]

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Seahawk Addicts! See ya on Sunday and GO HAWKS!!! SEA-HAWKS!!

Defense Loses One and Adds One

The Seahawks placed DE Junior Siavii on injured reserve due to a neck injury.  They then signed linebacker Joe Pawelek from the practice squad to the active roster to replace Siavii. Siavii had six starts and finishes the season with 30 tackles in 14 games.

Hasselbeck Still #1 QB

Playoff Questions

Today is a new day and the Seahawks still have a chance to win the diviion and have a home playoff game. Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times put together a great article with the NFC West playoff picture. The Cardinals are eliminated thanks to the loss to the Panthers on Sunday. The 49ers must […]

Seahawks Lose AGAIN! (R-Rated Post)

(Hey Everyone. I have to post this early due to some prior engagements. I don’t think we will win though.) Sounds like a broken record eh? Hasselbeck was horrible. Offense had two good drives. Defense was OK! Was the benching of Hasselbeck needed? At this point, even if the Seahawks win the division in week […]

Inactives for Seattle

Here are today’s inactives for Seattle: Walter Thurmond, Paul Fanaika, Breno Giacomini, Will Robinson, Stacy Andrews, Amon Gordon, Jay Richardson, and J.P. Losman. The only WOW today on this list is Stacy Andrews. He was demoted earlier this week for some reason. We’ll have more updates later.

Help Is On The Way

WR Mike Williams and WR Ben Obamanu practiced today and are “Probable” for the upcoming game against the Falcons. Hasselbeck needs these guys back and so does the rest of the Hawk nation. When Hasselbeck saw the video of the loss to the 49ers this week, he stated, “Monday was a bad day. I wasn’t […]

NFC West Inspiring Playoff Change?

Something that has been a hot topic on this website and others is the NFC West possible playoff scenario of a 7-9 team hosting a playoff game, and a 7-9 team even making it to the playoffs. If the season turns out like most believe it will, the deciding game for the NFC West could […]

Wednesday Practice Updates

Below are a few updates from practice today and a few articles for your reading pleasure. Some good and bad news. DE Chris Clemons reached the 10 sack mark today due to a scoring change from the 49ers game. Mike Sando wrote in his article that bests describes Clemons achievements this season, had this quote, […]

Deon Butler Suffers Broken Leg

The road loss to the 49ers today was bad enough, but the leg injury sustained by Deon Butler in the 4th quarter sounds a lot like what happened to Leon Washington last season. The injury was bad enough that 49ers coach Mike Singletary was compelled to visit Butler in the locker room immediately following the […]

First Half — An Exercise in Stupidity

After some of the worst play calling and decision-making I’ve ever witnessed during a professional football game, the Seahawks are down at the half to the Niners, 30-7. Nothing else to say for now. Do your worst.

Williams, Obo Inactive

Mike Williams and Ben Obomanu are both out today, as initially feared. With the Hawks’ top two receivers out against San Fran today, the offense will need big games from the ground attack, and Golden Tate could pick worse times to have a breakout game. On a happier note, no Frank Gore with the 49ers […]
