Well, I think Bradford is a very a good athlete and a football player. I personally would like to see either him or Tebow in the hawks uniform. Ideally, I want to see hawks draft Suh or McCoy at #6, C.J.Spiller or Eric Berry at #14, and Tebow at 40. That would be a great draft because all of the players can help hawks right now.

any one else watching the combine on the NFL channel? I have to admit there are a few that look impressive. Not that I want the hawks to be like the Raiders and only draft Combine work out warriors, but still!! and Charles Brown bulking up to 303!

I found this while doing RB research and I think the #'s involved are indeed preposterous, by comparison, I think I'm at about 28%-29% and I'm 6'-0" & 230 lbs. Of course I probably eat a lot different than he does, not to mention the lack of exercise and age, and health, etc. etc.

Ryan Mathews says he's lowered his body fat from almost 6% at the end of the college season to the current, and preposterous, 3.1%. ("I think I'd be 2.8% if I tested right now," he says.) - Matt James, The Fresno Bee.

I think I'm really starting to like this guy if available at #40.

Ryan Mathews:
Leads the NCAA in rushing by more than 25 yards per game (161.6 yards per game)... has two of the Top 10 rushing games in the NCAA this season, 234 yards against No. 5 Boise State and San Jose State, those games rank third and fourth in Bulldog history, respectively... against the Broncos he score on runs of 69, 68 and 60 yards and a averaged 12.3 yards per carry... leads the NCAA with seven runs of 50-yards or more (69, 68, 68, 60, 59, 58, 55).... set a school record with seven straight 100-yard plus games.

One thing erveryone needs to realize is that the Hawks are not going to be fixed overnight! If Pete's Idea that he wants to win right away upon returning to the NFL as a coach vs. rebuilding then this franchise is going to be in trouble. The Hawks succcessfull run over the last 10 years had parts in place. Remember Hutch and Walter holding down the left side. We had other vets on the righthand of the the o-line. We have to think further down the road than this year. We have already sat through two consecutive down years, what would two more be before a 10 year run? I say draft the line of the future with your first two picks and at 40 get a DT or DE. Its a waste of time to try and groom a QB without an offensive line. Look at the success Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco have had. They arent running for their life every time the ball gets snapped to them. Face it folks the Hawks are more than a couple pieces away from dominating the NFC West again.

Hawks are not more than a couple of pieces away from dominating the NFC West, I say we are. If not us then who is? I think if get Marshall, draft O-line and sign at least one veteran, as well as that draft safety like Mays or Berry, get a DE and there you go we are back on top of NFC West. People tend to think that 49ers are favorite to win it, I say are you kidding me? They will never finish better than at .500 if they don't get a better QB. They couldn't even sweep the series against us even though we had so many injury problems. And the only reason we lost to them once because Matt got hurt otherwise we would have won that game. Arizona in my opinion is the team to beat in the division, although now it will be much easier to beat them since they don't have Rolle, Dansby, Boldin, and most important of all Warner. We are the only team with a veteran QB who is capable of doing things on the field, all we need to do is give him a couple more playmakers and protect him, and division will be ours!
