Sigh,...I swear if i have to see one more replay and/or hear one more discussion about this incredible " non-story " regarding " the punch " delivered by the Oregon Duck i am going to flat out lose it. All day i listened to both 950kjr and Kiro 710 to hear some Hawk-Talk and some Mariners news....whether its the local news, ESPN, or local radio stations,..all that has been talked about is this story. This truly shows how lame people can be in general and how the media just has to put a piece of cheese out there,...no matter how lame and if its hammered on enough,...people come to take a bite.

Hello!!!!.....do we all really think this is the first time a football player has been sucker-punched. Our own Seahawk Ken Lucas, was sucker punched by a fellow teammate ( Steve Smith )and had his jaw broke for the love of all that is holy and even that incident didnt carry this kind of coverage. Its all anyone can talk about and the phone lines keep filled with people wanting to talk about it. I just dont get it. The only thing worse than the media is all of us ( im also guilty as charged ) for allowing journalists to spend this amount of resources covering something so completely irrelevant. Cocky jerks get punched in the mouth everyday in life....what makes this guy so special. He ran his mouth and got lit up for it....big freaking deal. Lets get back to news worth discussing....like actual sports news.

I apologize,...I was just compelled to rant..........

I'm pretty sure Smith is the one who punched and broke Lucas' face

butttt it was pretty rediculous and I agree it's being blown and blown and blown up way too much...even though we're adding to it....crap.
