I understand that winning ugly is still winning and all, but I expect this Seahawks team to annihilate inferior opponents like the Buccaneers, not spot them a three-touchdown lead to start the game. Wilson was still great, as were Tate, Baldwin, Lynch, and Miller, but the defense was oddly flat for most of the game.
Also, can anyone please explain to me why Christine Michael was inactive again for the umpteenth week in a row? With Lynch nursing a hurt knee, wouldn't it be prudent to activate him over, say, Ricardo Lockette? And what is up with the collapse of the run defense on the interior defensive line?
Don't get me wrong, 8-1 still feels great, but it should've felt a whole lot better than this.
