With the 106th Pick, The Seahawks Select….

….Robert Turbin, RB, Utah State.

The Seahawks get instant value in the fourth round with this 5’10″, 222-pound bruiser of a back. Turbin is a punishing, physical runner who’s drawn comparisons to Marion Barber in his prime, and, wait for it — Marshawn Lynch.

Turbin should be able to step in immediately and be a serviceable backup to Lynch, as both runners have an extremely similar running style. Carroll and Schneider have finally found the missing piece in a 1-2 punch in the run game.

The obvious question now is what happens to Justin Forsett. Sadly, I think he’s played his last down as a Hawk, and Leon Washington will be kept for kick returns and a change-of-pace back on third downs.

Turbin looked almost inhuman during his Combine workout. Visual evidence, not-Photoshopped:
