Matt Gets the Start and Other News

The Quarterback controversy is over. Matt Hasselbeck will get the start against the Saints tomorrow. Coach Pete Carroll hinted in his Wednesday news conference about starting the veteran but did not say for sure. Coach Carroll also told Matt earlier in the week that if Matt was healthy he would start.

I believe, also from my previous article, that Hasselbeck gives us the best chance to win against the Saints. Charlie is good, but he lacks the veteran knowledge in a playoff game.

In other news:

No injuries this week at all. This is the first time in the season. T Sean Locklear has been absent this past week for  family issues. The Saints on the other hand are riddled with injuries.

G Stacy Andrews will possibly be back in the line up this Saturday after sitting for the past few weeks. Locklear’s family issue seems pretty serious.

Joe Barrentine has a great video of Seahawk 1. You must view it.

Recent history could be in favor of a Seattle win.

Former Colt Raheem Brock is looking for a little revenge against the Saints.

Will the Seahawks dominate?
