In Other News, the Hall of Fame Selection Committe is Back on My Christmas List

Or at least they would be, if I ever started keeping one.  At long last, Cortez Kennedy will finally be taking his rightful place in Canton this year.  By my mind, anyone who manages to be voted the NFL Defensive MVP while playing for a 2-14 team deserves to be a first-ballot inductee, but in the end the selection committee corrected their mistake.  Steve Largent, you are no longer alone.

In other feel-good news, Tim Ruskell was fired last week by the Bears, and I’ve been dying to share that one with you guys.  I guess they weren’t impressed with Chris Spencer, either.
