2012 Draft, Day 3 (Rounds 4 – 7)

The final day of the 2012 Draft starts at 9:00 and continues until sometime around the heat death of the universe.  Rounds four through seven are typically light on trades, as this is when teams begin to switch gears from trying to work out deals to swap draft positions with other teams to trying to contact as many undrafted players as possible and sign them to futures contracts.

With a total of seven picks remaining, the Seahawks will be plenty busy today.  Considering how good John Schneider has been at finding talent in the mid-to-late rounds (Richard Sherman, K.J. Wright, Kam Chancellor), that’s fantastic news.  Here’s a full list of the team’s remaining selections:

Round 4, Pick 11 (106th overall)

Round 4, Pick 19 (114th overall, acquired from the Eagles by trading down in the first round)

Round 5, Pick 19 (154th overall, acquired from the Jets by trading down in the second round)

Round 6, Pick 2 (172nd overall, acquired from the Eagles by trading down in the first round; pick originally belonged to the Colts)

Round 6, Pick 11 (181st overall)

Round 7, Pick 18 (225th overall, acquired as a conditional pick from the Raiders in exchange for Aaron Curry)

Round 7, Pick 25 (232nd overall, acquired from the Jets by trading down in the second round; pick originally belonged to the Broncos)

So, is there anyone left on your draft wish lists?
