Here are a few items of interest this morning.
WR Mike Hass was released today to make room on the roster for DL Quinn Pitcock. Pitcock is an interesting signing. He had a promising career as a third round draft pick for the Indianapolis Colts but abruptly retired shortly after. The Seahawks worked him out and signed him late last night. He could be a potential bust or he could be the next DT that is rotated in and out of the line up. Time will tell!
The release of Mike Hass was unfortunate. He was a Pacific North West favorite that just could not get playing time. When he did receive some time it was very brief and sometimes injury prone.
Aaron Curry was at practice today but was not participating. He has a mild concussion and the medical staff is taking all means necessary to protect him.
DT Vickerson was not practicing this morning and had a sleeve on his leg. Not sure if it is a minor injury or not. We’ll know more soon.
Jerry Brewer of the Seattle Times has a great write up on WR T.J. Housmandzadeh. T.J. is vowing to produce this season.
We’ll have some more from practice later today!
