Greg Johns has the scoop:
Philadelphia Eagles general manager Tom Heckert has canceled an interview with the Seattle Seahawks, according to a story in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. … Seahawks CEO Tod Leiweke has not been available for comment and the team has not confirmed that Heckert — or anyone else — is on their list of candidates, though various reports have mentioned him along with Eric DeCosta of the Baltimore Ravens, Steve Keim of the Arizona Cardinals and John Schneider of the Green Bay Packers as final candidates.
Meanwhile, Matt Pitman has a wrap-up of John Clayton’s interview this morning on the Brock and Salk show. Clayton/Pitman:
“I’m hearing mixed vibes as far as if Eric DeCosta is going to interview or not,” Clayton said. The professor believes DeCosta could parlay interest from other teams into a raise/contract extension with the Ravens. Clayton says the Seahawks have yet to contact Keim.
