Two long snappers signed in one day? According to TSN here, Pat MacDonald from the Winipeg Blue Bombers has agreed to terms with the Hawks. In 2007, he was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent, the same year he was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the third round of the CFL Draft. The 6’2, 265-pound MacDonald signed with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers in 2008 but was released by the team. He is also a defensive lineman.
It appears that General Manager Schneider is hard at work already trying to fill holes on the roster and has started with one of the hardest positions to be filled on the Hawk’s roster for the past four years.
