Mora Presser notes  E-mail

"Adversity turns weak people into victims and strong people into competitors, and we're going to find out who is strong and who is weak." -Jim Mora.

  • Mora says the team is inconsistent and, today, did not execute well (which he said was rare).
  • Favre Cam is the silliest thing ever and I love it. Sorry, random though, but very true.
  • Mora pointed out that Dallas is healthy. So are the Seahawks, more or less. After ten minutes of squawking about accountability, seemed like a silly thing to say.
  • On the 3 PIs on Tru -- his legs got a little heavy, which we expected to happen; Mora says he didn't have a good view on two of the three.
  • No update on any injuries, Ken Lucas being the big one.
  • McIntosh did some "decent things."
  • Houshmandzadeh "needs to get in line, we're all frustrated."
  • "They're professionals. And they're paid a lot of money to compete, and it will not be tolerated for them to not perform." (I lost most of the quote, but that was the basic point. He sounded pissy though...)

Hasselbeck had a decent game, but it doesnt matter.

How high up the ladder does accountability go? Its easy to blame coaches and players, but the front office is as responsible as anyone for this roster and the mess that this team has become.

It's nice to see Mora puttung the hammer down, none of this is his fault. The players didn't live up to their salaries...lol. This week he threw the whole team under the bus! What a chickenshit.
Having Multiple Media Favregasms

The NFL media is the silliest thing ever. Will be glad when they get back to their day jobs producing used car ads.

Hype the stars - sell the product!

Can someone explain what happened with Housh? Was it really bad enough to be called out for it by Mora? I wasn't able to see the game.

They do pay those guys a lot of money. Since he chewed Mare's butt in the press, Mare has performed at a higher level.

Maybe maybe some of those temperamental millionaires need to be slapped around in public. I'm with you on this one Jimmy Boy. Maybe they will all start performing at a higher level.
Huush is trying to step up
written by Tomahawker, November 02, 2009
You say Housh needs to step up - Housh is TRYING to step up. It takes a line to hold the inbound traffic, so Hass can have time to send the package outbound, so Housh can step up... Personally, I think it is GREAT.. that he is pissed off and voicing frustration. He knows we have the ability, but are lacking in execution.... that's why he is frustrated...
HOUSH!

I'm also glad that Housh is venting his frustrations. He is probably pissed off that he was promised the world coming to play for the Hawks (pro bowl quarterback, etc) and in reality he should have stayed with the Bengals! He gets about 6 targets a game, where as Burleson got around 13, Carlson 5, shit our fullback got 4! Hass doesn't look his way enough, week after week, and he is pissed. I would be too.
