Coach Mora has called Aaron Curry’s injury a “slight groin strain,” and told Danny O’Neil yesterday that barring any additional setbacks, the fourth-overall pick will be fine for Saturday’s game against Neckbeard and the Broncos.
After yesterday’s barrage of bad news, at least we can breathe one sigh of relief.
Other injury updates:
- Olindo Mare was kicking again in practice yesterday. Apparently his sore knee is feeling better, and we may see him doing kickoffs on Saturday.
- Nate Burleson has sat out the past three practices because of a sore hamstring, which Mora says “is just lingering.” It’s just a precautionary move to allow the muscle to heal.
- Julius Jones and TJ Duckett both should be returning to practice very soon. Duckett suffered a concussion; Jones had an unspecified leg issue.
