Florio Gets Indignant  E-mail

In typical Mike Florio "I don't totally know what I'm talking about but maybe some people will laugh" style, Mr. PFT takes on the Seahawks this morning, specifically TJ Houshmandzadeh. In discussing the potential "nasty green jerseys," Florio decides to attack TJ Houshmandzadeh for absolutely no reason:

Receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who has gone from largely anonymous to primarily insufferable in a matter of months, would be fine with that.

"I haven't really seen a [green] jersey," Houshmandzadeh said, "but if you got style, then you can rock anything. I think I got style, so I'm going to be just fine."

He probably was kidding.  Even if he was, we think the equipment guy in Seattle should replace the first "H" on that green jersey (and the other two) with a "D".

So... Florio, he with literally no experience actually playing football OR making/understanding jokes, is suddenly calling Houshmandzadeh "Doushmandzadeh"? Really? I would suggest we all go over there and give him a piece of your mind, but he has no interest and never pays any attention to what his readers write him. Sound off below!

Wow, he's really proving how smart he is:
"He probably was kidding. Even if he was, we think the equipment guy in Seattle should replace the first "H" on that green jersey (and the other two) with a "D"."

And the other two? So he's Dousdmandzaded? What a diss. you just called a guy a "dousd" and apparently "ded". I sure hate it when I get dousd. I'll just be walkin out to get the mail and some kid grabs a hose and sprays water all over me and I get dousd.

Yeah no, not so much.
He could've had something worthy of a decent diss if he didnt add the 'and the other two'.

Like I keep saying, Florio is becoming the TMZ of the NFL.

All he's ever concerned about in his content on PFT is following Twitter wars between pro athletes and posting self-righteous tripe. How has Housh become "insufferable" in a matter of months? Because of the Madden 2010 incident? Big deal, the guy isn't afraid to state his opinion. (Though I will admit Housh has set the bar fairly high for himself on that note.)

Florio is just here to create drama. He's a spineless worm with who apparently learned how to run a blog by researching the hell out of the National Enquirer and TMZ. He's obsessed with Twitter wars and what athletes say to each other, and constantly fails to post veritably anything of actual relevancy to a topic NFL fans care about. In recent months, we've beat him to the punch on a slew of breaking news stories, and not just the ones relating to the Seahawks.

But if it's news on what Michael Vick just tweeted to Chad OchoCinco about what he might be having for lunch, Florio's definitely your guy.

This is actually pretty funny. I like Housh of course but that is the first time I've heard that nickname. It's not even worth getting riled up about Florio, it would be like getting upset at Obama's health care reform.

Clearly Florio is a classless, low budget human being. I never frequented his blogs but this is enough for me to make a snap judgement on his character. Any idiot can make a blog, and the proof is in the pudding with this post.

Mike Florio is not worth the attention he gets as a result of his outrageous and ignorant statements.

I actually like Florio and PFT to be truthful. Aren't you all getting a little sensitive? It's a joke - no? So what if the guy isn't serious and all business, like other NFL insiders. That has never been his schtick since day 1 and I think its fair to say that he has the fastest growing NFL website right now. NBC doesn't pick up the average schmuck website on the street.

And JonV - after going to such trouble to prove how smart you are, you end up being the idiot. I'm pretty sure Florio meant change the first H to a D on the TWO OTHER jerseys. As in home and away, moron.

Fiorio is, was, and will continue to be a clueless putz. That's all I have to say about that.

i'm thinking jjhsix should wear a doushmandzadeh jersey. it'd fit him well.

This is a place where passionate Seahawk fans congrigate to talk about the things that we love most- football and more importantly, Seahawks football. When some retard on a popular website makes a comment that really shows no class toward one of our blue faithful you bet your ass we're going to take it personal. It's not so much as being sensitive- as it's us defending our beloved seahawks. In order for it to be a joke- there'd have to be some clever humor in it- and if anybody found that remotely humorous- it shows clearly whats funny and whats elementary.

Did he even hear Housh's full comment/joke????

Obviously Housh was all tongue and cheek and there's no reason to make a Douche comment/joke regarding what he said....so stupid

Housh doesnt sound like he likes those hideous green jerseys either, he's just making the best out of it. Florio is a douche, and probably has been looking for a reason to call Housh names ever since Seattle signed him. Florio really cant stand Seattle. I wonder why everyone in the US wants us to fail so badly? Five years straight in the playoffs followed by one bad season, and suddenly we suck--but the Cowturds go 11 years and counting without a playoff victory and they are a good team?! Whatever.

Florio is a loser who is occasionally funny, but usually just full of himself. Ever since his comment about having to get "Government Cheese"--when you know damn well that wealthy idiot has never tasted that stuff in his life--Ive pretty much hated him.

And his Twitter obsession is pathetic.

I second that.

well... I thought it was funny. If you want to speak out a bit then you're going to get some back sometimes. I love Housh and I hope he delievers. I'd definitely wear a Doushmanzadeh Jersey if given the opportunity. I think Florio should change the first letter of his first name to a "D" and the first two letters of his last name to "WH".

Why are you all taking this so serious. It seemed all in good fun to me. Actually I laughed out loud when I first read that article on pft. No point in getting worked up over some media bull crap.
Go Hawks.

i still can't see why anybody could possibly find this humorous. The D Bag made a play on words. Anybody who'd actually laugh out loud at that, or even entertain the thought of laughing has no comprehension on whats funny and whats not.

Florio needs to leave comedy to people who have talent in making people laugh. not some hack beat writer on a lame blog.
