According to this Danny O’Neil, at the Seattle Times, article here, Darnell Dockett was only fined $7500 for his cheap blow to Hasselbeck during the Arizona game. If this is the case for every cheap shot in the NFL then why doesn’t each player who sacks a QB take a cheap shot? They make millions so this is just pennies out of their pocket. 16 games a year, 5-10 sacks per year for a DE or DL, add that up and it only totals $37,500-$75,000 per year. Hey, maybe it’s worth it if you make 3-10 million per year eh? What do you all think about this fine and what Dockett did? Should the Seahawks start playing a little dirtier or keep it clean?
